As the big snow is thawing, I have a pleasure to present a beautiful winter wedding with touches of frost, style and romance. Ciara and Joe got married on a cold Friday in January, with a beautiful ceremony in Ballivor church, lovely afters in McLaughlin's family pub and fabulous reception in Clonabreany House. These two are childhood sweethearts and beautiful people inside and out and I so enjoyed creating a visual story to hopefully remind them of every single moment and emotion of their big day. I had a pleasure of capturing the day alongside a great team: second shooter Katya Koliban, make up Sarah Keary Make Up, hair by Denise Bray Hairstylist, flowers VP Flowers, videographer @The Video-man, dress MK Bridal, cake 2210 Patisserie, band The Maddisons. I hope you enjoy this excerpt from their gallery...
One of the perks of my job is that I get to witness so much love within families. It's like there is a special glow around new mum and dad when they welcome a new baby, it's really fascinating to watch. And when a baby is lucky to have an older sister or brother, there's even more of it: pure, strong, unconditional love. Amila-Grace was a supermodel and she rocked all classic newborn poses for me. I really enjoyed working with her beautiful big sister Layla too. In my opinion she's destined for a big stage, both for her looks as well as sparkling personality. But moody, emotional family portraits are always my favourite , just have a look...
SO you've got your photographs done. But do you actually put them up on the wall? Do you have them displayed to enjoy every day?
Living in digital era has stripped down the power of printed photograph. I am guilty of that myself, even afraid to think of how many important photographs are still sitting on my many disks.
But for the few of them I have framed up on the wall... while so many of our memories fade away, these are strengthened by the pieces on the wall. And my children love them. They comment of them, laugh at them, talk about them. They remind them where they came from, highlight their sense of belonging and connection to their identity.
They remind them how important they are. How loved they are.
There's a poetry in a quality wall art. They're an investment that gains value with time and so much more than a USB in your drawer, they're a family heirloom.
They help us treasure memories of our lives. They help us remember.
Julen - a beautiful baby boy, newborn photographer Dublin, newborn photographer Meath
Every time I hold a newborn baby in my arms I start believing in miracles yet again. His parents came to Ireland from a beautiful Basque Country and I had an absolute pleasure of capturing very special moments in their families life: pregnancy and welcoming a beautiful baby boy, whom they called Julen. His mum and Dad had a very specific requests for his newborn photoshoot, they even brought their own belly cast! and I enjoyed creating them for them. I hope you like the selection below, and if you do, I'd love to see a comment below.

I couldn't wait for this wedding, as having met Jane I knew it was going to be fabulous inside and out. Cathal is the youngest brother of the family with 5 sisters, and as one of them said, walking into this family was a brave thing to do on Jane's part. Makeup was created by one of Cathal sisters, Anne Marie, who is by far one of the loveliest and most talented makeup artists around. Their ceremony took place in Kiltale Church of the Assumption and reception followed in a beautiful Tankardstown House and even though the weather wasn't on our side the day was filled with beauty, elegance and charming surroundings.
I really enjoyed documenting their big day and creating an artful set of images to tell their love story. Thank you to my lovely second shooter Monika Grabowska for helping me out on the day.
I hope these images will bring them back to their day over and over again.

I had a pleasure to photograph them as newborns on day 9. It was such a joy to capture their newborn memories, and I couldn't stop smiling throughout their shoot. I am in love with their gallery! They rocked their photoshoot and were amazing sleepers, particularly content when snuggled up together. It was their mummy who suggested the photo of back of their heads, and I am so glad she did as it's so cute! Sam and Lexi have 3 big brothers who are very proud of them and are so loved. I was honoured to photograph them again on the occasion of their Christening, it was so lovely to see how big they've gotten. I hope you enjoy this little post, please feel free to comment underneath, I would love to hear from you.

I can never get over the sense of wonder, brand new babies are absolutely amazing. When Jack's mummy asked me to incorporate vintage car rims in the photoshoot, I didn't know what to expect. I was a little worried whether I could pose Jack safely in them. It was a spontaneous idea, but I think we did pretty well to make it work visually and create some impactful images. Not to mention Jack posed like a pro.
It was a beautiful sunny afternoon and the surroundings of Botanic Gardens made a dreamy backdrop, suiting the occasion so well. Hanna looked like a proper little Angel and her bubbly personality made her a supermodel in the making. I loved every minute spent with Hanna and her family and I hope they'll treasure forever those few images of their special day.
